Dial-up Glossary
10 Meg Email Box - refers to the total amount of email residing on the
server with your email address.
50 Meg Personal Web Space - the total amount of web space allotted to you to
place your personal web site on via a FTP program. Your web address would
look similar to this - http://vip.hyperusa.com/~yourusername.

numbers when you travel by dialing a local number in that city while using
your HyperUSA Internet account.
Barracuda Email Filtering - this service deletes junk email and
virus-infected email while allowing legitimate email to go to your inbox.
Undetermined email is redirected to a website for
viewing at your discretion. Avoids filling your email account with
unnecessary emails that you have not requested, also known as SPAM.
Priority Support 24x7 - these technical support calls will be deemed a
higher classification in terms of answering calls. Priority Support clients
will receive a special telephone number allowing their calls to be placed in
top priority either by being answered immediately or by being placed in
queue with other Priority Support clients, to be answered in the order they
were received. 24x7 refers to twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Standard Support 24x7 - these technical support calls will be answered
either by return call, email or via the technical support chat room. A
message may be left on the support voicemail, to be returned in the order
they were received within a reasonable amount of time. 24x7 refers to
twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Unlimited Attended Operation - allows the user to connect to HyperUSA an
unlimited number of access times. This definition does not include unlimited
usage. All dial-up accounts are denied unlimited usage. Unlimited usage
accounts are termed dedicated accounts. 'Attended' literally means while
you are actively in front of the computer.
No Disconnect Timers - will impede your surfing experience. This
means that HyperUSA servers will never disconnect you for inactivity. There
are no connection timeouts, or any other timer which will disconnect you for
any reason.
POP3 Email Accounts - These accounts have a number of email addresses
(plan specific) via a POP3 mail server. Literally means you will receive your mail from the
server it is sitting on and have the ability to download it to your PC.
POP3 emails are generally used in conjunction with another email program
such as Outlook Express.
