Title: Outside Network Installation Agent

Location: Various locations in Texas

Availability: Immediately

Reports To: Provisioning and Customer Service

Description: The Outside Network Installation Agent will be responsible for installing voice and data services in a field environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain a working telephony network including telecommunication circuits such as T1's and T3's.

• Knowledge of cable installation, splicing, bonding, grounding, and NID installations.

• Installation, maintenance and integration of special access devices for telephone services and data services.

• Maintenance of routers, switches and computer systems at customer premises.

• Other delegated responsibilities as agreed upon.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years experience in telecommunications environment/related field and/or vocational training.

• Working knowledge of switching and telephony to include: use of test equipment, troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance techniques.

• Proficient understanding of computer knowledge.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Valid motor vehicle operator's license with clean driving record.

• Must pass vehicle insurance suitability requirements..
